These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Airport Taxi Transfers Liverpool's services. By booking a transfer with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

  • "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Airport Taxi Transfers Liverpool
  • "Customer", "You", "Your" refers to the person booking the service
  • "Service" refers to airport transfer and transportation services
  • "Driver" refers to the licensed driver providing the transfer
  • "Vehicle" refers to the transport vehicle used for the service

2. Booking and Confirmation

2.1. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from us.

2.2. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us via email or SMS.

2.3. You must provide accurate information when booking. We are not responsible for missed transfers due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

2.4. For airport pickups, we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT.

3.2. Prices are fixed at the time of booking and will not change unless additional services are requested.

3.3. Payment can be made by cash to the driver or via online payment methods where available.

3.4. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Excess luggage beyond the standard allowance
  • Additional waiting time beyond the included grace period
  • Route changes requested during the journey
  • Additional stops not included in the original booking

4. Cancellation and Amendments

4.1. Cancellation by Customer:

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before pickup: Full refund
  • Cancellations made 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% charge
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before pickup: Full charge
  • No-shows: Full charge

4.2. Amendments: Changes to bookings can be made up to 6 hours before the scheduled pickup time, subject to availability.

4.3. Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances. If we cancel, you will receive a full refund.

5. Service Standards

5.1. All drivers are fully licensed, insured, and professionally trained.

5.2. Vehicles are regularly inspected, maintained, and cleaned to meet safety and comfort standards.

5.3. We monitor flight times and adjust pickup times for delays or early arrivals at no additional charge.

5.4. A grace period is included for airport pickups to allow for deplaning and baggage collection.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1. Customers must be ready at the pickup location at the scheduled time.

6.2. Customers must provide accurate contact information and respond to driver communications.

6.3. Customers are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for lost or forgotten items.

6.4. Customers must not:

  • Behave in an abusive, threatening, or inappropriate manner
  • Smoke in vehicles
  • Consume alcohol or illegal substances in vehicles
  • Damage vehicle property
  • Exceed the vehicle's passenger or luggage capacity

6.5. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a journey if these conditions are breached.

7. Luggage and Personal Belongings

7.1. Standard luggage allowance is included in the price as specified during booking.

7.2. Customers must declare all luggage requirements at the time of booking.

7.3. Drivers will assist with loading and unloading luggage where safely possible.

7.4. We are not liable for loss or damage to luggage unless caused by our negligence.

7.5. Lost property will be held for 30 days. Return postage costs apply for mailed items.

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1. All vehicles are fully insured for passenger liability and third-party risks.

8.2. Our liability is limited to direct damages arising from our proven negligence.

8.3. We are not liable for:

  • Missed flights or connections due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Traffic delays, road closures, or accidents
  • Acts of God, severe weather, or force majeure events
  • Consequential or indirect losses

8.4. Customers should maintain appropriate travel insurance for their journey.

9. Flight Delays and Monitoring

9.1. We monitor flight times for airport pickups at no additional charge.

9.2. Pickup times are automatically adjusted for flight delays or early arrivals.

9.3. Customers should provide accurate flight numbers to enable monitoring.

9.4. For significant delays exceeding 3 hours, we will contact you to confirm arrangements.

10. Complaints and Disputes

10.1. Complaints should be submitted in writing within 7 days of the service date.

10.2. We will investigate all complaints and respond within 14 working days.

10.3. Any disputes will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Data Protection

11.1. We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

11.2. Customer information is used solely for providing the service and improving our operations.

12. Special Requirements

12.1. Child seats, wheelchair access, and other special requirements must be requested at booking.

12.2. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs subject to availability.

13.1. We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions.

13.2. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.

13.3. Bookings are governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.
